Rossano

At 190 km from Sambalon, Rossano was the centre of byzantine civilisation in Calabria. We suggest to visit the Cathedral and S. Mark’s church, with the bishop’s museum showing the “codex purpureus” (purple pages with Mark’s and Matthew’s Vangeli). We suggest also a short stop at liquorice shops, with an ancient tradition in that place.
